Eagle Court of Honor - A special day for the Troop. Our first Eagle Ceremony! On Monday, May 24, 2004, Adam was awarded the rank of Eagle in a ceremony attended by about 70 guests including fellow Scouts, Msgr. Gallagher, former teachers, Mrs. Siuta & Mrs. Cerwinski, members of the parish, friends, family and Orchard Park Town Supervisor - Toni Cudney. Many letters of congratulations were also received, including from Cal Ripken, Ralph Wilson, President Bush and Congressman Jack Quinn. As SPL for the Troop, Adam worked hard and long to make this Troop as good as it is. His Eagle Project where he organized an Environmental / Nature Awareness Day was representative of the effort he puts into Scouts. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS from all in Troop 1776.
Court of Honor - At the February 2004 Court of Honor; five boys earned me rank of Scout. Congratulations to Brian, Cory, Kyle, Matt M., and Ryan. And moving one step closer to Eagle was Dan earning the rank of Life.
On June 5, 2002 Troop 1776 held Investiture Ceremonies for the Troop's Leader Positions. The following Scouts and their positions were formally installed in a moving candlelight ceremony followed by refreshments.

All of the boys are looking forward to fulfilling their duties and to start planning for the activities and campouts for the next scout year. This is where the boys learn the true meaning of the boy led program, responsibility, decision making and teamwork.
